St. Michael’s International School offers a full programme of specialty subjects as part of the foundation of its curriculum. By offering specialised, qualified teachers to lead five subjects a week, students receive focused instruction in these courses allowing classroom teachers to concentrate their efforts on instructing the core subjects.
Specialist subjects are taught by Year group. All students participate in weekly Music and Library research programmes as well as twice a week lessons in PE (Physical Education.) Japanese classes are held twice a week in Year One and Two and three times a week in Year Three, Four, Five and Six. The Japanese curriculum in each year group is levelled in order to meet the needs of students from beginners to fluent speakers.
