International School Assessments
The International School Assessments (ISAs) helps us demonstrate a few of the reasons behind our well-established reputation for academic excellence and enable us to answer questions such as ‘How well is my child doing compared to those in other international schools?” and ‘How do you know?”
St. Michael’s International School has a long and distinguished history having been established on 10th March 1946 on land owned by the Anglican church. The school was founded by Miss Leonora Lea, a British missionary who remained in Kobe during the Second World War and Bishop Michael Yashiro of Kobe’s St. Michael’s Diocese, who would later become Anglican Primate, or Archbishop, of Japan.
