At this special time, our son will leave St. Michael’s and move onto the next stage of his education. Our family really appreciates all the help and guidance St. Michael’s offered to him in the past 6 years. With your wholehearted help and guidance, our son not only learned rich knowledge, but also developed good character. All this proved St. Michael’s is reliable and professional. Our daughter attended SMIS for 6 years. She really loved school and did not want to miss a day, even when she was sick.  She developed a strong connection with her friends and she has learned many things from her experiences there. The children were supported not only by their class teachers, but also by the warm support of many other teachers and staff members.  We are truly appreciative.

Close relationships between the teachers and students was the key to success not only for our daughter who was already an English speaker, but also for our son who has grown up in Japan and learned English through SMIS. The community’s supportive attitude encouraged our children’s sports outside school as well as learning at school! Parents enjoyed working as POSMs too!

We are happy to have sent our daughter to SMIS. We are proud of her to have received the prestigious Spirit of St. Michael’s Award in Year 6. She has been blessed with the best teachers, staff and friends. The various experiences at school have nurtured her. Growing, working and learning together forever!

Immediately after moving to Japan in 2014, he got admitted into the school. Everything was so new to him and as parents we were worried about this transition. We consider St. Michael’s a great choice for our son. For many years I’ve felt like a part of the St. Michael’s family, I felt very touched by the school. Both my daughters have grown up to be the person they are today, from the incredible life teachings provided by the school. St. Michael’s is a very collaborative school and has a healthy background. Our two boys were at St. Michael’s from nursery all the way through to graduating from year 6. We are a bicultural, bilingual British/Japanese family.  The school is certainly warm and welcoming – parents as well as children made plenty of friends there! Being a small school helps to build relations between staff, children and their families, and this is something that we really appreciated.
