Capital Campaign

A Capital Campaign is a large-scale, special fundraising initiative designed to support a specific and transformational project. These campaigns typically run for three to five years and focus on raising the funds needed for major enhancements to the school—such as building renewal, new facilities, or significant campus improvements.

Capital Campaigns are different from the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund provides direct support to the school’s operating budget, enriching day-to-day learning and cultural experiences with benefits that can be seen almost immediately. In contrast, a Capital Campaign is launched for a defined purpose with a larger financial target, often requiring several years to reach completion. Its impact, however, is long-lasting, shaping the facilities and opportunities available to generations of learners.

At St. Michael’s, our most recent Capital Campaign was The 70th Project, completed in 2017, which successfully delivered major enhancements to our school environment. At present, the school does not have an open Capital Campaign.

Donors who wish to make a difference today are warmly encouraged to support our Annual Fund, which continues to enrich the distinctive programmes and learning experiences that make St. Michael’s unique.
