Celebrating Community

Relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Events such as our recent Get Acquainted Tea are a wonderful way to bring families together and celebrate the successful start of the school year.

This year is especially meaningful as we prepare to celebrate our 80th Anniversary, a milestone that honours the generations of children, families, and staff who have grown, worked, and learned together here. It was inspiring to see so many parts of our community at the Tea: new and returning parents, faculty, alumni, and friends of St. Michael’s. Their presence highlights the sense of belonging that makes our school so special.

Our success over nearly 80 years has come from strong partnerships. We thank our alumni for joining us, giving Year 6 families the chance to learn more about the SMA and how to stay connected after graduation. We also welcomed guests from Kansai TELL and the Kodomo Children’s Hospital, whose work strengthens our wider community links.

Parents play a vital role through POSMs, the Parents of St. Michael’s. Their support helps enrich school life and bring families together. We are grateful for their delicious refreshments at this event and for their ongoing commitment to our community.

As we look ahead to our anniversary year, we are excited for many more opportunities to connect, celebrate, and continue growing, working, and learning together.
