Student Leadership

We believe that every child has the right to be heard and the opportunity to make a difference. Our Student Leadership programme gives children the chance to step forward as leaders, while also ensuring that every student participates in shaping our school community.

During the annual Student Leader elections, pupils can choose to stand as candidates, sharing their ideas and vision with their peers. Equally important, every child has a voice through voting, helping to select the leaders who will represent them. In this way, all students are empowered to play an active role in school life.

This process reflects our school values of community, compassion, endeavour, and global citizenship. It also nurtures the 4Cs that lie at the heart of our learning:

  • Communication – presenting ideas clearly and listening to others.
  • Collaboration – working as a team to strengthen our school community.
  • Critical Thinking – weighing choices carefully when making decisions.
  • Creativity – finding new ways to improve school life.

Student leadership is not just about those elected, it is about building a culture where every voice is valued. By participating in the election process, our students learn the importance of responsibility, respect, and democratic practice, skills that will serve them well as global citizens of the future.
