Making memories

Our residential camps are an essential part of student growth at St. Michael’s. Stepping beyond the classroom gives children the chance to learn in new ways, apply personal skills, and create lasting memories that strengthen our school community.

Camps bring students together in ways few other experiences can. Tackling shared challenges and taking on responsibilities build deeper friendships and a genuine sense of belonging. The adventures, whether hiking, cooking, campfires, or team games, become moments our young learners treasure long after they return to school.

Just as importantly, camps provide an authentic setting for students to put the 4Cs: Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Critical Thinking into practice. Alongside values of respect, compassion, responsibility and endeavour, these skills come to life in practical ways, helping children develop resilience, confidence, and independence while discovering what it truly means to grow, work, and learn together.
