On March 10, 1946, a group of children and adults marched through the snow from the home of Miss Leonora Lea to a small wooden building on Tor Road. And so began the story of St. Michael’s International School.
Almost 80 years later, St. Michael’s is thriving. Accredited by CIS, COBIS, and ICA, we continue to offer a British international education to students from over 24 nationalities. Over the decades, we have welcomed families from every corner of the globe, each contributing to the rich tapestry of our school community.
Today, we honour the memory of those who have gone before—students, teachers, staff, and parents—who have each played a part in shaping the school we know and love. As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to the future with the same spirit of dedication, excellence, and community that has defined St. Michael’s for 79 years.
