Celebrating 80 Years of St. Michael’s: Then and Now

As we begin our 80th anniversary year, we are proud to look back at the journey of St. Michael’s International School and celebrate the community that has grown and thrived through the decades.

Then – In 1946, St. Michael’s opened its doors with a small group of dedicated teachers and families who believed in providing children with a rich, values-driven education. Photographs from those early years show students gathered in classrooms, choirs lifting their voices in song, and a strong sense of belonging that has been at the heart of our school from the very beginning.

Now – Today, almost 80 years later, that same spirit of community and excellence continues to define us. Our students learn in a vibrant international environment, supported by a dedicated faculty and an engaged parent and alumni network. Modern classrooms, digital learning, and global connections enrich the experiences of our learners, but our values of compassion, respect, and responsibility remain unchanged.

As we reflect on our past and look to the future, our Then and Now project will highlight stories, photos, and voices from across the generations of St. Michael’s. This year-long celebration is not only about honoring our history but also about inspiring our children to imagine the next 80 years of “Creating Tomorrow.”

We invite our community – past, present, and future to join us in celebrating this milestone. Watch this space for more Then and Now stories as we share the legacy and the bright future of St. Michael’s International School.
